Key Worker, Bus Stop Adaptation

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we noticed public transport was being used considerably less. We observed the only people still using public transport were key workers. Therefore we decided to target bus stops near key worker outlets such as a hospital and turn them into an escape area for them to reflect after an emotionally taxing shift. They will be temporary structures made from recycled and reclaimed wood. The structures added to any typical domestic bus stop will house lots of greenery and plants, an abundance of seating, and a positive walk way and display area to help ease stress and create solidarity for the key worker and their community.
